Competitions and games

They’ve all been in the past have run competitions as a means of generating interest both leading up to and at the live event. Coding challenges, technical puzzles and reaction tests are all great ways to start a conversation!

Alfresco

Alfresco brought with a BATAK board to SMRnov17, with candidates battling for the top spot throughout the weekend. It created a load of interest and ensured attendees kept on checking back in to see if they’d moved position!

iManage

iManage managed to squeeze a mini basketball net into their stand at SMRmay18 – it was a great way to engender some interest amongst the candidates!

Pizza Hut

To really test developers over the weekend, Pizza Hut developed a deceptively difficult game and brought it with to SMRmay18. Despite it looking easy, with its bright colours and arcade style of play, it got more and more difficult to the point of being nigh on impossible but super addictive! A real winner!

Fundapps

Fundapps tapped into the startup vibe with a super fun Nerf shooting range!

SMR Production

We too will be in on the action – look out for games and arcades around the venue in-between speaking to candidates! If you’ve ever wanted to try and land a plane at City Airport, SMRnov18 may well be for you..
